Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are a group of developmental disabilities defined by significant impairments in social interaction and communication and hallmarked by the presence of unusual behaviors and interests.

Recently released data from across the country indicates that 1 in 150 8-year-olds are currently affected.

Autism Spectrum Disorders

In 2003, a national survey indicated that an average of 7.7% of children between 4 and 17 years of age had been diagnosed with ADHD at some point in their lives.  The Massachusetts average was 8.5%.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a family of chronic neurobiological disorders which interfere with an individual’s ability to regulate activity levels, inhibit behavior and attend to tasks in developmentally appropriate ways.

Problems with motor coordination.  Also known as Sensory Integration Disorder.

· Auditory Processing
